Crye Precision designs and manufactures innovative apparel and equipment for America’s fighting forces and is based in Brooklyn, NY. As Lead Apparel Designer, I was responsible for the design and development of Crye's next generation combat apparel. The G4 Combat and Field uniforms were launched successfully in February 2019 and feature a proprietary fabric development with Invista® called VTX Ripstop™. This uniform fabric is the first made is USA stretch nylon/cotton ripstop and is lighter weight, more breathable, and has a higher strength to weight ratio than the standard MilSpec NYCO.
